  I didn't see them advertising an optical input, at least not here. Only
coaxial SPDIF digital input/output, and the manual doesn't mention optical
anywhere.

  SPDIF comes in both optical and coaxial (electrical) flavors, the sound
quality is the same, a converter would be quite simple to do.
