Couldn't you make a LANG_WEEKDAY identifier that is identical to
LANG_WEEKDAY_00?

Otherwise it seems like a cool and easy solution.

BTW: Any chance of you implementing the "new-player" feature mentioned in
http://rockbox.haxx.se/mail/archive/rockbox-archive-2003-05/0681.shtml ?
