Thanks, it worked.

Anyway, I'm now stuck with the same "ld: cannot find -lmingw32 " error that you had. Loading the new registry keys did not solve this pb.

Did you manage to compile the simulator?

  I also had the same problem. My attempt to "try" and solve it was to copy the file crt2.o from cygwin/lib/mingw and move it to cygwin/home/rockbox/uisimulator/win32.
  It worked for me.
