This is what I've learned about Archos:

I'll buy it as soon as they make their specification and code open.

I don't want to to have to wait for the clever Swedes to reverse engineer it.

Because experience shows the Swedes, and the open source community, will produce a
better, faster, more intuitive interface than Archos's programmers.
