Date: Wed, 4 Jun 2003 10:28:38 +0100 Can anyone tell me exactly WHY you can not change the batteries in the FM Recorder. What is the difference? Also is this true that you can not upgrade the HDD on the FMR? Please help me out as I'd rather send my FMR back and get one that can upgrade batteries and HDD -----Original Message----- From: TP Diffenbach [mailto:rockbox_at_diffenbach.org] Sent: 03 June 2003 19:49 To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: Re: BATTERY-FAQ and the FM Charging teh FM works with both the Archos firmware and the Rockbox firmware. Rockbox will show 100% charged a bit soonre than perhaps it should, so just leave it charging as long as is convenient to you. The case will get somewhat warm while charging. Quoting Martin <martindavidsson_at_gmx.de>: ON YOU FM-RECORDER -how does it work, does the batteries get hot or what, does it stop recharging, the guys of the rockbox have said nothing about this, and its true, they can not do anything about it-and why then care :) -- Archos FM has a Rockbox!
