Why I like this approach:
It's a more or less simple way of browsing the mp3s by id3-tags. The
dir-config files can replace a complicated database, but have to be build
offline by a tool, of course. I think it's a clever approach, because no
extra tool for browsing the database has to be written. I hope there will be
the possibility to "load" different configurations.

What I don't like:
I think this way of browsing the files is a little be limited. With a real
database structure (which has to be generated offline by a tool, too) more
specialised queries could be possible, for example: "build playlist with all
songs from sting which are older than 10 years".

Remember, I like your work (haven't tested it, but like the idea), I just
want to throw in some thoughts...
