Subject: uisimulator/win32 doesn`t compile on cygwin anymore
From: for_spam_at_gmx.de

hello !
hardeep changed (added include of stdio.h)
rockbox/uisimulator/win32/sprintf.h
some days ago to fix a compile time error.
in the past, I had no problems compiling the sim for win32 on cygwin, but
unfortunately this change
INTRODUCES a compile time error for me:
gcc -g -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DGETTIMEOFDAY_TWO_ARGS -DSIMULATOR
-DHAVE_RECORDER_KEYPA
D -DHAVE_LCD_BITMAP -DAPPSVERSION=\"030614-1328\" -DDISABLE_NOTHING
-DHAVE_RTC -
DWIN32 -DNOCYGWIN -I. -I../../firmware/export -I../../apps
-I../../apps/recorder
-I../common -I../../apps/recorder -I/home/rockbox/build -W -Wall
-mno-cygwin -m
no-cygwin -c ../../firmware/common/sprintf.c -o
/home/rockbox/build/sprintf.o
../../firmware/common/sprintf.c:163: conflicting types for `vsnprintf'
/usr/include/mingw/stdio.h:225: previous declaration of `vsnprintf'
make[1]: *** [/home/rockbox/build/sprintf.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/rockbox/uisimulator/win32'
make: *** [sim] Error 2
perhaps this is due to my special "stripped down" environment - but perhaps
others have this
problem,too?
hardeep - what "compile time error" did the change fix for you?
regards
roland
