I've contacted archos before and they have said they plan on releasing a
remote for the FM, as for the recorder I thought there was one already?

Does anyone know yet if this new Digital FM Remote will be able to be
modified for the Archos Recorder/RecorderFM models??

It looks like it has a jack for control, line in and some kind of serial
interface.
