Rockbox mail archiveSubject: Trimming an MP3 fileTrimming an MP3 file

Date: Thu, 19 Jun 2003 23:11:26 +0200 [Okay, maybe it's slightly off-topic. But there are a lot of MP3 experts here...] I've got some MP3 files that all start with 50ms of silence. Since they form one contiguous piece of music, I want to get rid of these pauses. I've tried some popular tools (audacity, mp3trim) but they all seem to require decoding/encoding of the MP3 file, and I'm afraid this will affect the audio quality. Do you MP3 experts have better suggestions? TIA -- Johan Received on 2003-06-19 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
