So I did. Removed two frames from the start. And this is what I get:

     Time: | | | | | (tick = 50ms)
 Original: ----------abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwzyz......
      New: ------+hijklmnopqrstuvwzyz......

There are 50ms gone, but not the first.
