| about rockbox charging the JB instead of JBOS isint all you need to do is
| turn it on normally, then wait for rockbox, then plug it in? ive never
| drained it so low that it wont make it to rockbox... so why spend the time
| and money on a external device?

|

Because the JB is fitted tightly in my car, and I'm too lazy to get it out
every time I step in my car. I'm even too lazy to press the ON button and
then switch the power supply on. Doing this while already driving away could
even be dangerous. The external device I describe is very easy to make
within half an hour.

Back to my question: did anyone ever run the JBR on 12-14 volts, directly
from a car lighter outlet?
