How to fix "Read Error, Check Drive" ?

Hello
I got a MP3 Player ( Archos Jukebox Studio 20 ) with a 20 GB HD

Now, when I start my player it will display "Read Error, Check Drive"

Then I put a very, very old HD ( 250 MB ;-)) he he) inside the playe'r and
start'd it up.. same error

( by the way, the 250 MB HD is formated with FAT 32 )

Anybody know's what can be wrong @my player ?
