Actually, the boot loader is prepared to do that. If source and destination
address of the image is identical, it will directly start it. This would
require a special build of Rockbox, with different linkage.

However, the flash has only an 8-bit bus, versus the DRAM is 16 bit. Running
from flash will probably be slower.
