Hmm, I had a similar behaviour, when I first started my JBRFM. But then
I found out that I "just" had to do with some water vapour at the
contacts from the display. After about 10 minutes or so it completely
stopped.
I have it nowadays sometimes, when I take the Jukebox out of the cold
car and turn it on.
So it is nothing to worry about. ;)

I turned on my Jukebox today and saw what I thought was the beginning of
a crack on the display, a small black line.

After a few moments the line wriggled a bit, and moved. Then I noticed a
few more of them - my Archos has got some kind of bugs in it! Uuurk!
I've seen three on the screen so far, tiny little critters wandering
about.

I think it's got some kind of infestation.
