Sure but isn't there >2K sitting there doing nothing (0x0f000e50=_iramend).

I'd certainly put the stacks of time-critical threads in there.

If you mean the internal 4Kbyte RAM, we use it for time-critical code,
like the scheduler, bit swapping, ATA driver etc.
