I don't mind him shooting his foot as often and as hard as he likes after
being told, but the thing is it wasn't his foot here, it were the feet of
Archos and the dealership. He returned the unit with an innocent look on his face.

The honest way way in this case would be to accept the consequence, do the
soldering for UART boot and serial mod. It would as well help the development
of flashing for the FM.
