You need the 6VDC adaptor, don't get the 'or so' version. ;^)

Thanks for your help. I'm a bit confused about which spec charger I should buy. I've been recommended a 9V 800mA unit but this is an FM Recorder - should I go for a lower voltage (6V or so)?
