I never thought about this issue, before.
I always thought that modern harddisks move their heads to parking position
even if the power fails? So this should do no harm?
If it really does, why not include this feature into rockbox. If you press
the off button rockbox should check then if the disk is on at the moment. If
it is shut down the disk and than shut off itself.
Isn't this possible?
