must be some of that daft inventions of music industry, nobody wants and nobody likes (besides music industry)

ok - just kidding...

archos jukebox is just a universal harddisk based mp3 player which can basically do these things:

- record music from any source and store as mp3 file
- store lots of files just as any other ordinary PC`s hdd (it is an external usb-hdd)
- play any mp3 file

rockbox is an open-source firmware replacement for this device - and there is no (and will never be) drm or other nonsense like this
inside. if you have some drm`ed music files: too bad ! :)
