You will need to do more than that. The forward voltage drop on on
blue/white LEDs (white LEDs are a Blue LED with a layer of phosphor over
the top) is far higher than that required by Green or Red - don't recall
where orange/yellow sits on the scale; but certainly below Blue/White.
