The ability to map a function (f2 - f3) key to a particular rock/pluggin would be awesome...

This suggestion mentions menus on F2/F3, not screens. The quick-screens of
today would be abandoned.

And we always have single-line strings in the menus.

So I guess we agree! ;-)
