the first voice synthesizers could only read numbers, it would be a large
improvement over what exists now. The system Fred suggests would make it
usable right away, maybe if the user wanted to put a little extra effort in,
they could record custom
 files and place them in their music folders that the jbr units could grab
and play over-riding those that would spell names. In 5 years we'll sit
around and wonder how we survived with the current technology today.
