I want to use linux as i've started hacking away with rockbox.
Everything's fine doing this on XP apart from the constant unplugging of my archos
to see my tiny incremental changes. If I had linux i'm sure i could get the simulator to work!!

which version/distro of linux would be best suited for my P3 600, 256Meg, with ATI graphics card and Creative labs sound card?

I use WindowsXP... Yes!

And I don't feel guilty

(Commodore64 isn't *nixesque?)
