Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2003 23:52:28 -0800 (PST) After you separate the two circuit boards, there are two screws that hold the front plastic faceplate to the circuit board. Note that this faceplate also holds the LCD display to the circuit board in order to make the electrical connection between the LCD and the circuit board by pressure connection. After the plastic faceplate is removed, you have access to the solder points for the button switches. Try resoldering bad ones before replacing them as I had the same problem which turned out to just be a cold solder joint that was virtually impossible to detect by visual inspection. During re-assembly, the faceplate/LCD combination must tightened up snugly to the circuit board or else the LCD will not work. ===== Craig rb_dev_at_yahoo.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
