Subject: RE: RE : Resume on STOP behaviour
From: Touillaud Nicolas (Nicolas.Touillaud_at_fr.thalesgroup.com)

In addition :
* Same problem encountered using "pause trick"... too bad.
* BUT ! When I press play when the root of my HD is displayed, the resume
menu is invoked and the resume is ok. So, for me, there is no real probleme
anymore :)

Ok ok :)
My JBFMR hasn't been flashed

turn off procedure:
Stop reading (short off/stop) then turn of the unit (long off/stop)

turned on by shortly pressing 'On'

No resuming problem when resume is set to 'yes' (as far as I've experienced
it), barelly work if set to 'ask'. In that last case, the archos just
display the root directory without asking anything.

The "pause trick" (using pause before stopping and/or turning off the
device) Jason Williams described seem to work perfectly with resume set to
ask.

Hope it will help

Nicolas

If you won't file a report, please still provide detailed information about
*exactly* what happens. How do you turn on? How long do you press the keys?
Flashed or not? etc. etc.
