Not really. The battery voltage will rise fast during the first hour of
charging. When you unplug the charger, the battery voltage is almost as
high as it would have been after a full charge. It will drop pretty fast
when you start using the battery, but until then, Rockbox won't be able
to correctly measure the battey status.

I'm not saying that the code is bug-free, though...
