I'm surprised no one's answered this yet, as far as I can see. (But then, I
only saw it today myself, as I've been on vacation.)

In the debug menu, there's a screen showing stack usage for each thread. I'd
tell you exactly where in the menu, but my archos is broken.

Is there a way to tell how much stack is used? I'm trying to reduce the
amount I use for bookmarking and would like to see if the tweaks I am doing
is
actually having an effect. I noticed that there is a "View OS Stacks"
option,
but I don't understand what it is showing.
