/.rockbox/file-icons/fontname.ext.icon

examples:
rockbox_default.ajz.icon
atari_small.icon.icon
5x7.rock.icon

Either cache them all when you load the font, or read in the required ones
at the time you read the dir structure?

With the incredible work that Mike Holden is doing on the icon driven gui
this approach would encompass user designed icons for that too :)

Good idea or just another for the cooking pot ?;)
