I've not found that to be true at all. I find significant and very
audible differences between the FM radio (including transmitters), the
JBR20 connected via cassette adapter and CD. (worst to best in that
order) No high end system here, simply the upgraded factory system in a 98
Dodge Durango 4x4 (read: significant 5.9L engine and 31" tire noise) and
some Audiovox speakers to replace the horrid paper cone Infinity speakers.
 The speakers were like $40 a pair and the system probably produces no
more than 100w total.

Were it not for the 3 way head unit, I would have likely shelled out the
$100-$150 or so for an Audiovox with the front panel 3.5mm aux jack and
have been done with it.
