I think Iknow the answer to this already but I bought a 40gb hitachi drive and as I installed it I noticed it said 6v on the top of it. The archos only provides 4.8v correct?

it gives a panic error when I tried to power up. Just wanted to make sure before I give up. Got it for a dirt cheap price so I can use it for other things I guess, maybe a carputer
