Awhile back someone posted a link to buy a decent powered microphone. I
bought an Omni-directional powered stereo mic from the Giant Squid people.
Anyway, when I plug the thing in all I get is clanging (bass noise). No
voices. I've tried ranging the gain from 5-19.5. Any ideas?

Do I need a pre-amp?
