Rockbox mail archiveSubject: RE: Dead archosRE: Dead archos
From: Ofir Carny <ofirc_at_savantis.com>
Date: Thu, 12 Feb 2004 16:30:50 +0200 I had a similar problem recently (see http://rockbox.haxx.se/mail/archive/rockbox-archive-2004-01/0762.shtml), including the weird noise, surprisingly, no one answered my mail. Anyway, I disassembled it, cleaned it a bit and reassembled it again, and it works now (I even flashed it for the first time afterward). I have no idea what the problem was though, I assume some short-circuit somewhere. > -----Original Message----- > From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se] > On Behalf Of Matthew Daubenspeck > Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2004 4:13 PM > To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se > Subject: Dead archos > > I tried turning on my Archos last night, and for the most part, it's > dead.
