When I load the 2.1 version of the RockBox software onto my archos I get
the Normal start screen form the archos firmware, and the RockBox splash
screen. Then the screen goes blank. However, I am able to navigate
blindly to music and play it.

I tried copying a small font over the rockbox_default.fnt file. This had
no effect.
