All I needed to do was notice that there were 2 versions of the player /
recorder download and get the correct one!!!!

V2 did the trick.

Just got the 20Gig player recorder from Amazon. UnZipped the rockbox 2.1
stuff to the root directory, turned the archos back on and nothing looks
different???????????

Did it work? Did I do it wrong?

the ajbrec.ajz file is there. the .rockbox directory is there.

All help appreciated.
