This seems like a somewhat foolhardy endeavour, but according to Linux
on iPod (you know, that evil evil project ;) ) the remote is a serial
device. So I'm just wondering what kinda connector it has, if anyone knows?

This is particularly interesting if the rumours of a remoe with an LCD
display are true :)
