After thinking about it more, I realize we should always start a new
playlist from stop, dispense with all quick inset/queue functions and play
the first thing selected, and start building from there while playing. That
would be perfect imho.
Would it be too complicated to change the function of the play and forward
buttons based on playing or stopped status?

Also, when starting with a playlist (from stop), can we just play it,
instead of inserting? We aren't preserving the last dynamic playlist from
stop anyway unless we save it to a permanent file from the "playlist
options" menu, or press "on" to resume the current (last) playlist, which we
can add to all we want while playing.
If it's too hard to have the buttons act differently for different file
types, it's nod big deal.
Thanks again,
Tim
