As I have previously posted, this appears to be a problem unique to the
FMR. Have you let it sit for a wile on the charger then disconnect it and
try firing it up later? That usually works in my case (smile)...rocker

Hi,

I am still trying to determine if my drive is bad or if it's
the electronics in my FM recorder. Can someone tell me if the
drive should spin up as soon as the unit is turned on. All I
hear is a clicking when I turn it on. After about a minute the
clicking stops and it just hangs. Connecting it to the USB does
not work either. I would like to know if my drive is bad before
I buy a new one.

Garren
