RE: 0505Build voice UI crash

Hi, Jörg.
You said, in reference to the loss of voice problem,
I know about this problem, but failed to fight it so far. It sneaked in with
my fix of the swallowed first syllable when changing clips.
To fix the new problem, I may need to change the method Rockbox does
pause/resume in general. Sorry for neglecting this, maybe I should roll back
for the time being.

I would, for one, ask you to roll back for now. The swallowing of a
clip is, IMHO, not that vital, but the losing of voice is a pain. The former
is easy to deal with in context, but the latter requires shutdown and
restart.
        Aman

I don't know, copied that from the original talkbox patch. I'm a big fan of
removing option clutter!

You at least need to decide if you want to use talkbox or not. To find out
that the file is not there still requires the disk to spin up.

A beep is a little bit complicated, because a TTS engine won't generate one.
So this would be a side path of the voice file generation.

Benjamin was at least thinking about it. I'm not sure.
