Subject: RE: 5400rpm toshiba drive in JBR

Incidentally, has anyone ever sucessfully run any 5400rpm drive in a JBR? I
only ask because there will come a day when 4200rpm drives are no longer
available, and thanks to RockBox we will all still be using our jukeboxes
because nothing else compares.

Thanks for the wild guess, I'll look in to it. AFAIK I don't have a HDD
password enabled, but I don't know much about it so it will be a good excuse
to learn.

Just a wild guess...

There is a HDD un-passwording tool on the Rockbox homepage

I have no idea whether it would help or not, but if you're about to bin it,
it's gotta be worth a shot?
