As a motorcyclist myself, I would suggest you forget about music on the
move, and instead concentrate 100% on what is going on around you,
including listening out for the as yet unseen car that is trying to wipe
you out!

If you really need music on the move, a solid state mp3 player would work
far better, as there are no moving parts to cause skipping.

Don't take this the wrong way, it is just my personal opinion.
