I just got a new Rockbox Recorder 20. It's the one with black bumpers, but
not the FM radio version. It came with version 1.28 in the firmware.

I put Rockbox on it but was wondering if I can do the firmware flash.
According to the Rockbox debug menu, the flash line reads "FlashL M=??
D=??". The ROM CRC line reads: "ROM CRC 0x222F v1".

I don't want to try to flash if I can't do safely and I'm not sure whether
the model I just bought (new, but at a surplus store) is one of the 85%
where it will work or one of the 15% where it won't work.

If anyone could help me answer this question, I'd really appreciate it.
