Yes, it seems to be x * y, where x is only about a minute of my playing
around to check levels, etc., while y seems to be into the hundreds?

All recording options set as:

Quality: 7
Frequency: 44.1
Source: digital
Channels: stereo
Independent frames:no
Time split: off
Prerecord Time:off
Directory: current dir

Anything else you need to help debug? I'll try another test or two right
now to see if there's anything else I notice.
