RE: intelligent shutdown?

It should be configurable just like Resume: Yes/No/Ask. My box is flashed
and I wouldn't want it to sit there asking for confirmation since I am
usually not looking at the screen when I shut it down.

Get's my vote. I have one slight consideration. For those of us who
cannot flash, the startup is still 15 seconds ...as such I would like to
suggest:
if mode==browser and button==off then ask "yes/no"
...otherwise an accidental tap of off will mean a 15 second delay before I
can continue.
