I have heard that some of the V2 units have an FM inside of V2 them, and the
only way to know for sure is to install the FM version of the RockBox, and
see if it works.
I tried this with my V2, and disappointingly, it did not work, and I just
went back to the V2 version.

A friend meant to buy an FM Recorder from E-Bay but has ended up with a V2
Recorder. This is just the FM Recorder without the radio, right? It can
still be flashed and started cold from the ROM?
