Hi Markus,

In my unit the pins nearest to the battery-connector with the
spring were broken. i saw it when i inserted the batteries
while the unit was open (be careful to not break the battery
connectors when you do this!)

i was able to re-solder the pins without disassemble the
whole unit. i wish you this luck, too. otherwise you find
explanations how to dissasemble the unit on rockbox.com
