So, I still remain confused, if the sequence for ROMbox is 'special' enough that you have to do a specific sequence like: 1) unpack ROMbox .zip into tree, with ajbrec.ajz and .rockbox/rockbox.ucl 2) [on]+[f1] OR normal start, ROLO ajbrec.ajz 3) walk into .rockbox, click on rockbox.ucl OR have rockbox.bin, use .rockbox/rocks/firmware_flash.rock Steps 1) and 2) I think are stated on the wiki. 3) is still a bit 'diffuse' cheers -george (twiki text) Drawbacks * In order to flash a new .ucl (either RomBox or ordinary rockbox) or flash image you first have to RoLo into ordinary RAM-based rockbox, since it is impossible to alter the memory rockbox is running from. Sufficiently recent versions of rockbox_flash.rock and firmware_flash.rock will notice this situation and refuse to run instead of simply crashing _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-08-13 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
