Hello all,

I'm pleased to annouce that the recording problem when running
from rom was finally found (by a combined effort of Linus and
me). It turned out to be a general bug in the recording
function, which was only rarely triggered when running from ram.

So if anybody wants to give ROMbox a try, there is now one
reason less to not do so :)

The packages downloadable from the wiki are updated, get them at http://rockbox.haxx.se/twiki/bin/view/Main/RomBox
or build your own as described there.

Hint: There was still nobody doing comparative runtime tests on
the recorder V2...
