XP SP1 sometimes has some usb troubles, not fixed by windows update. The

About windows logo testing warnings: you can ignore them all. It's Yet
Another howto-get-money-fast program by our dear microsoft (companies will
have to pay like $10000 to get there drivers 'signed', while there's no
difference for the user, except the warning screen. You can turn it off in
Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Signing or something like that)
