So, I cant even boot my AJBR20 (with a 40GB HD in), the problem with
clicking HD is still there. It seem to be unable to read properly.
But scandisk reported no errors (but it took a good five hours to
scan the whole disc).

If I got a physical damage on the disk, is it goodbye for ever? Or is
it fixable? Expensive?

nervous.
