after cluttering both Monday's and today's chat with corrections
for the manual, here are the remaining issues I found during my
more thorough reading:

p.82, backup the rom: (1) The backup is not needed for updating
      the bootloader, only for reversing the procedure. (2) The
      menu item to use is called "Dump ROM contents"
p.82, copy new content: If you mention the Ondio at the beginning
      of the flashing chapter, perhaps you should mention the
      flash packages too. These are:

      and
      http://joerg.hohensohn.bei.t-online.de/archos/flash/flash_ondiosp.zip
p.84, issues and limitations: (1) "..differentiation comes later
      with flash content." "later with" is crippled. (2)
      "...need the new _norom firmware," - I think it is no
      longer "new".
p.89, Multi-band equaliser: "visualization" with "z"
